arnhem – nijmegen-2

Ancient identity, new meaning

In the Regional Plan 2005-2020 the city region Arnhem Nijmegen points at strengthening the specific city region’s identities.

The most eye-catching identity is the river landscape of Rhine, Waal and Meuse. Rivers and dykes traditionally play an important role as developmental carriers, to which this master plan adds new meaning.
